After much observation and discussion from students, Destiny Feemster was determined to create the change necessary to assist in her school's up keeping. Gathering with a handful of students and co-founder Camille McCarter, Eagle Enhancement was developed and now holds over 60 members. Eagle Enhancement is a social student organization "for the students" of North Carolina Central University "by the students".

The strong yearning to bridge the gap between North Carolina Central University Alumni and students caused the desire to "foster relationships with alumni" by connecting with the Alumni House, Pre-Alumni Club and developing Student-Alumni Connect.

Effective community service is vital due to the university's policy to obtain 120 Community Service Hours prior to graduation.
